Nancy taught pre-school and Transitional Kindergarten at Fremont Presbyterian Church Nursery School and was an elementary school teacher in the San Juan Unified School District. Nancy's BS and Secondary teaching credential are from California State Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, CA. Later she earned her Elementary Teaching credential from Sacramento State University, Sacramento, CA. David Link - Canon for Music

Director of Music at Trinity Cathedral in Sacramento since 1985, David Link studied at Sacramento City College and the Royal School of Church Music in England. His piano study was with Dr. Richard Carpenter, and his organ teachers included James Lang in Sacramento and Christopher Herrick in London. He also studied choral conducting with Paul Hillier at the University of California at Davis.

David was recognized by Outstanding Young Men in America in 1986, and received the Trinity Cathedral "Dean's Award" in 1999. A past-Dean of the Sacramento Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, David was the conductor of the Massed Choir at the Jubilee of Jesus Christ 2000 service held at Sacramento's Arco Arena on January 2, 2000. He founded the Cathedral Music Series and Annual Diocesan Choir Festival, and has taken the Trinity Cathedral Choir on five tours of England in 1990, 1993, 1997, 2000, and 2003.

His many contributions to the Cathedral and in the Diocese were recognized in January of 2001, when Bishop Lamb made him an "Honorary Canon."

In his spare time he is Director of Music at St. Michael's Episcopal School in Carmichael. He is a single dad of three daughters, and the summer months frequently find him hiking and backpacking in California's high Sierras. During his sabbatical during the summer of 2004, he climbed to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro, at 19,340', the tallest peak in Africa!

Jerry Paré - Manager of Administration

Jerry has had a strong interest in the Church and religion for many years. His BA from UC Santa Cruz is in Philosophy and Religious Studies. He followed that with a MA in Religion, with a concentration in Scripture, at School of Theology in Claremont. In his next academic pursuit he earned a MA in Systematic Theology at the University of Notre Dame. After graduating from Notre Dame in 1986, Jerry became the first Director of the Catechumenate for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend, Indiana and then went on to be the first Executive Director of the National Council for Catholic Evangelization (NCCE). During this time Jerry produced an educational video on the Catechumenate entitled “A Journey through Easter.” Jerry then moved into “secular” office administration with companies in Chicago and finally in Sacramento. He is now bringing all of his experience and skills in office administration together as the Manager of Administration for Trinity Episcopal Cathedral.

Jerry married Mary Heidelman in 1975. They have a daughter who was born in 1990. The family celebrates at and attends Trinity Cathedral because of the diversity and resources found there that enrich their lives and help them in their attempts to enrich others’ lives.
