PARISH AND COMMUNITY HEALTH

The Cathedral Parish and Community Health Ministry Committee emphasizes the continuing healing ministry of Jesus through the many avenues of healing and wholeness found in the medical community and through others who have the gift of healing. This committee will:

Emphasize the wholeness of body, mind and spirit in faith communities.
Be a living witness of the healing activity of God.
Promote healing, health, and wellness among the members and among the wider community.
Be a cooperative effort of the health professionals and other interested lay members who have a desire to promote health and wellness in their faith communities.

WHEELCHAIR MINISTRY

The Wheelchair Ministers provide care to wheelchair-bound parishioners who attend services at the Cathedral. Training is provided regarding the special needs of individuals to be served. For more information, contact Steve Skiffington at steveskiffington@gmail.com.

PARTNERS IN HOPE

Partners in Hope is a group which consist of members from Trinity Cathedral who are available to provide peer to peer support to those experiencing any of the following health conditions:

Alcohol addiction
Anal/rectal cancer
Back surgery
Breast cancer
Celiac disease
Depression
Epilepsy
Fibromyalgia
Heart valve surgery
Lung cancer
Pacemaker replacement
Parkinson’s disease
Prostate cancer
Rheumatoid arthritis
Rotator cuff surgery

If you have been diagnosed with one of the above health conditions and would like to talk with someone with a similar condition, or simply want to check out available resources you can contact a Partner in Hope. All conversations will remain confidential.
